Protect Your Cruise Payments

Great American River Journeys recommends the purchase of a travel insurance plan. We have created a comprehensive travel protection plan that should give you complete confidence – Great American River Journeys’ Ease of Travel Protection Plan (ETPP).

If you cancel for any reason 91 days or more prior to your departure, your cruise vacation payment made to Great American River Journeys is fully refundable. The ETPP also allows you to cancel FOR ANY REASON, up to the day of your cruise departure, but the refund amount will depend on your reason for canceling.

This plan is administered in two parts:

The Travel Arrangement Protection Benefit of Part A is provided by Great American River Journeys and administered by Insure America.

Travel Insurance Benefits of Part B are provided and administered by Insure America. This plan covers you even if you must cancel or interrupt your trip due to a pre-existing medical condition; provided you are not disabled from travel at the time payment is made. Coverage includes Great American River Journeys’ cruise vacation, air, hotel, and other travel related programs – if purchased through Great American River Journeys.

Trip Cancellation
If you are canceling for a COVERED reason your penalty amount will be refunded in cash. If canceling for a NON-COVERED reason, your penalty amount will be refunded in travel certificates.

Ease of Travel Protection Plan – Rates Are Per Person

Part A: Travel Arrangement Protection is provided by Great American River Journeys

Travel certificates are valid for two years from the date of issuance and are non-transferable. This plan must be purchased at the time the deposit is paid. Payment for the ETPP is not refundable or transferable for any reason. The ETPP is intended for individuals. Group and charter clients may be excluded from participation.

Part B: Travel Insurance Benefits are provided by Insure America and underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company

Non-insurance services through Travel Guard Assistance are provided by Travel Guard.

This is a brief description of the coverage(s) available under Policy Series T30253NUFIC. The policy will contain limitations, exclusions and termination provisions. Insurance coverage is underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA, a Pennsylvania insurance company with its principal place of business at 70 Pine Street, New York, NY 10270. It is currently authorized to transact business in all states and the District of Columbia. NAIC No. 19445.
